Waiting for the Results

Waiting for biopsy results can be a trying time. Sometimes you will know within a few days, but it may take longer. Studies show that a short delay between biopsy and treatment will not affect the spread of cancer or reduce the chances of successful treatment. For DCIS, in particular, there is time to get information before making any treatment decisions.
